The Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime convened in Vienna for the fourth time this week, opening the General Debate on the 8. October.
Norway has for a long time been strongly engaged in the work against organized crime and human trafficking, and started out with giving their support to the idea of an independent review of the implementation mechanism. This to strengthen to quality of the work laid down by the Convention against Organized Crime and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, UNODC.
